Maven Trading allows traders to request payouts every 14 days (bi-weekly) once they are on a funded account. The first payout can be requested 14 days after placing the first trade on the live funded account, provided the account balance is above the initial starting balance and no drawdown rules have been breached.

What are the drawdown limits on Maven Trading accounts?

Maven Trading features both daily and overall drawdown limits. The daily drawdown is typically set at 5% (calculated based on the previous day's ending balance or equity, depending on the account type), and the maximum overall drawdown is 10%. Exceeding these limits will result in an automatic breach and account closure.

Is the challenge registration fee refundable?

Yes, Maven Trading refunds the initial challenge registration fee to successful traders. The refund is processed alongside your very first profit split payout on the funded account.

What trading strategies are prohibited at Maven Trading?

Maven Trading prohibits strategies that exploit system inefficiencies rather than trading the market. This includes high-frequency trading (HFT), latency arbitrage, reverse arbitrage, news straddling, and using external copy traders without authorization. Normal manual trading, swing trading, and standard EAs are fully permitted.
