Tokyo-based retail FX and CFD provider Goldenway Japan has announced its decision to change its corporate name to GW Securities. The transition will officially take effect on November 1, with regulatory registration procedures scheduled for completion by December 1.
Despite the corporate name alteration, the company confirmed that the widely recognized FXTF brand will remain active. Client contracts, official websites, and physical office addresses will also stay exactly as they are without any disruption to trading operations.
The rebranding effort impacts more than 280,000 active accounts managed by the broker. Earlier this year, the firm made headlines by becoming the first Japanese retail broker to integrate its platform directly with TradingView.
Goldenway Japan operates under the ultimate ownership of FXTF Holdings, a Singapore-based corporate entity. The broker did not disclose any specific underlying reasons for the corporate name update.
For retail traders using the FXTF brand in Japan, daily operations, margin requirements, and platform access will experience no changes. Account holders do not need to take any administrative actions regarding their existing positions or agreements.
Such structural updates are occasionally undertaken by financial institutions to align with broader global holding strategies. Regulatory compliance and client fund safety remain fully intact throughout the transition period.
