Eightcap's United Kingdom operating unit has released its latest financial accounts to Companies House, shedding light on its geographic revenue distribution and profitability trends. According to the filings, the firm's annual pre-tax profit fell significantly to £164,833, down from £510,688 recorded in the previous reporting period which spanned 16 months.

The London-based subsidiary, regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), reported total revenues of £4.49 million for the year ending June 30. Out of this total, a substantial 70.5%—amounting to approximately £3.17 million—was generated from clients residing in continental Europe. This represents an increase in European concentration compared to the prior period, where European clients accounted for 67.1% of the total.

In contrast, local British clients contributed a relatively minor share of the business's top-line revenue. Traders based in the UK brought in £178,126, representing just 4% of the overall revenue figure. The remaining balance of roughly £1.14 million was attributed to a transfer-pricing agreement designed to top up the unit's earnings to a pre-agreed margin with a broader group company.

The heavy reliance on continental European clients highlights the cross-border footprint maintained by the FCA-regulated broker within the broader European retail trading ecosystem. Prop traders and retail market participants closely monitor the financial health and regulatory standing of established brokers, as many funded trader programs and independent operations rely heavily on stable broker infrastructure for order execution and liquidity.

Eightcap continues to operate as a prominent player in the online trading space, servicing both retail clients and institutional partners globally. While profit margins have compressed compared to the prior period, the firm maintains its regulatory compliance under the strict oversight of British financial watchdogs.

As retail broker regulations evolve across multiple jurisdictions, transparency regarding geographic revenue streams and profitability remains crucial for industry observers. PropFXLab will continue to track broker developments that impact the broader trading and funded account landscape.
