dxFeed Courts Indicator Vendors Ahead of TradingView Off-Platform Sales Ban

Market data provider dxFeed is making a strategic push to attract independent trading indicator sellers. This outreach comes just days before TradingView enforces a strict ban on all off-platform sales for invite-only scripts.
Beginning November 1, developers who sell paid indicators on TradingView will be required to process all transactions through the platform's official Marketplace. Vendors who continue to collect payments outside of TradingView risk having their proprietary scripts blocked from the platform entirely.
In response to these tightening platform policies, dxFeed has stepped up to pitch its proprietary dxScript scripting engine. The company is offering indicator vendors an alternative environment to build and distribute their tools outside of TradingView's ecosystem.
TradingView's official Marketplace currently lists dozens of paid spaces ranging from modest monthly subscriptions to higher-tier analysis tools. Although thousands of authors have applied for inclusion, the strict transition has left many independent developers searching for alternative distribution channels.
For retail traders and funded account users who rely on custom indicators, these structural changes could impact how tools are accessed and paid for. As major charting platforms consolidate software sales into proprietary stores, independent developers are increasingly evaluating multi-platform strategies to protect their revenue streams.
